Thought I'd pass on to eveyone a find last
weekend (not McCoy). I write computer
programs to integrate telephone systems and
computers. At last Sat.'s auction I
purchased a radio that is designed like an old
"crank" telephone - thought it would look
nice in the office.
As it turned out, the radio was manufactored
in 1958 (AM tube) and plays like it was new.
Paid $7.00 for it and have been offered $65,
but like my McCoy, don't plan to part with
it right now.
BTW, there's a McCoy set made for Heinz
pictured in the Huxford Enc. The picture
shows an apple decal. Was there a complete
set of just brown. I found one of the 6 oz.
bowls that has the McCoy for Heinz signature,
but it is solid brown - almost like the
brown dip glaze, but without the 'dip'.
Any info.
