EBAY

Hi Terry,
I know what you mean. I am a seller and a buyer on ebay and have noticed the
number of "Brush-McCoy" cookie jars turning up lately. And also the many, many
supposedly rather hard to find McCoy jars.
The only thing that I can figure to do about it is I usually email the seller
and request extra pictures and any provenance that they might have on the jar.
If they don't get back in touch with me, or evade my questions, or get upset
that I might suggest they have a reproduction going as a real "McCoy", than I
don't ever do business with them. My list of people not to bid with is growing,
unfortunately.
The best thing to do on ebay is be an aware bidder and question the sellers.
Check their feedback and question some of the people they have sold to. I know
that I wouldn't mind anyone asking someone I had sold to any question they would
like.
But repros or not, it is still one great place to find some really fine McCoy.
More than you could ever see at any other place.
Where have all the McCoy people been lately? I miss all that email!
Have a great weekend,
Andrea
