my husband and i have a large collection of the brown drip. we were able to
identify the plates, in several sizes when we ran across a boxed lunch set.
it had bowls, small and medium size plates. they all had three kiln or mold
marks on the bottom but were not marked. all other pieces of brown drip that
we own, with the exception of dinner plates are marked. our dinner plates are
not, but have the kiln or mold marks that seem to match the lunch set. the
good news is when we have found the plates they are very very inexpensive as
there are no marks.. if someone else has more information we would love to
know about it... oh, also some of our pieces are numbered but we are sure
based one the way they are numbered that they are mccoy.
