Hi fellow McCoy lovers. I am new on the list and to McCoy. I have just bought
a few pieces at auctions. Just the other night at an auction there was a Snow
White McCoy Cookie Jar. It was in such good condition that the auctioneer (A
licensed appraiser) thought it was a reproduction. Farther study showed a
considerable amount of yellowing inside and some crazing on the very bottom.
He was then convinced it was just in great condition. To make a long story
short. I bid up to $75 and lost it. It was not listed in my cheap antiques
guide. Does anyone know the value of this piece?
Thanks,
Bill
