Question Re: Shipping Charges

I've just been notified that I'm the high bidder on a specific item on eBay.  
This is a vase that I've purchase three times before on eBay...the shipping 
and insurance charge has not been more than $5.15 before.  Well, the 
notification from this seller indicates that I am to remit $13.75 for 
shipping, handling, and insurance...in addition to my bid.  I'm very irked 
and just not sure what to do.  Any advice from you?
