Mine is the green and brown. I went to a flea market today and found a baby shoe in pink with the NM mark for $5. I have the blue one but for $5 I bought it anyway. I saw this huge flower vase , must have been 18" tall, cream colored with a redish brown design on the bottom for $65. I didn't recognize it and the vendor wasn't right there. It seemed too big to be McCoy. I didn't have that much with me any way. Well happy hunting. I plan on going to Roger's flea market in Ohio soon. I'm really not much of a collector anymore--buy mostly for resale with a few exceptions. But lots of McCoy has passed through our hands since the late 70's. Best of all of it has been getting to know so many people. Think I used to irritate the mall owners where I used to work. If someone came in and was even slightly interested in McCoy, I was off and running (my mouth) if we weren't busy at the time. I've collected a long time and am fortunate to know Nelson and Billie ...sometimes call on them for answers as well as other long time collectors. Elizabeth has probably collected longer than I have...close anyway. Just don't be afraid to ask questions...if we don't know we'll tell you...I've learned from being on here, too. I want those blue/pink candleholders and potpourri holder that another collector on this talk-line told us about. I didn't know either existed! It's a circle with all of us learning from each other. chiquita ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- To be removed from the list, send email to mccoypottery-talk-request@mccoypottery.com with the word "unsubscribe" in the body of the message.
