there was a company called Brush and a company called McCoy. For a number of
years, l9l0-l925 i believe, they merged and operated as one. However, NO
pottery was every marked Brush McCoy during that time. After 25, they
separated back into two companies.. Anything marked Brush is Brush.
anything made during the l9l0-l925 era can be considered Brush-Mccoy. The
books are confusing haveing "Brush-McCoy" in their titles since all books
titled that have pure Brush in them as well. Chiquita
