Hi everyone,
After thinking about repo's of Mccoy, I would question any large dollar
priced cookie jar. The best thing that you can do is to buy the books on
Mccoy pottery. I take a ruler with me when I see a cookie jar I measure it.
In one of my books it gives height's of jars . How a repo is made. They take
the real cookie jar, make a mold of it, and than they start making new
cookie jars.Looks the same but it is 1/2 inch smaller. The cheaper cookie
jars, most have not been repo, becouse it is not proffitable for them. It's
the high dollar cookie jar. The cow(purple) with the cat on it's back has
been repo. I have not seen a real one yet. Please keep this in mind when
buying. I really like all the knowledge that comes from this chat line.
Thanks for everyone's help.
