Hi Jeanne--I don't know whether your pink & blue bowls are McCoy or not, but
I checked an early book on McCoy, THE REAL McCOY volume 2 , by Pamela Coates.
In her list of marks she shows one that has the word ovenproof (written like
that, all one word) going in a straight line. Below it is McCoy in a slanted
cursive script, and below that, in a straight line again, U.S.A.
She shows a second mark, this one in a double circle. Between the two lines
are the words: oven proof (this time it's two words) U.S.A. Line. In the
center of the circle is McCoy.
I realize that yours don't have McCoy, but is the arrangement of the words
helpful?
Good luck, Lillian
