Barb, Thank you for showing us your pictures. We had an ice storm here in Des Moines a
few years back that did as much damage as the 3 tornado's that have skimmed the top of my
roof in the past 30 years. One of my 3 sisters that live in Caddo Co. commutes to OKC
and teaches at the college. She has 7 acres of big trees around her house and this
morning she said she only had one branch on one tree that was sticking higher than her
roof. Out there in the country, when they lose the electricity they also lose the pump
for the water. Oh what convenient we have in cities.
I have seen that wringer washing machine cookie jar in some book somewhere. I am going
up to our big bookrack this afternoon and I will look for it. Betty the Okie in Iowa.
