Lisa, I have always done that too even to flea markets I take them and leave
them in the car sometimes I do make cheat sheets Some dealers will have the books
right out in the open stating it is an older reference and their prices reflect the
increase in the secondary Market . I find these dealers to be less experienced
and more greedy .. many don't know about the items they are selling they just
know people will buy them.. I Live In PA we have the Adamstown area They
say is the antiques capitol of the USA but I have seen many places make that
claim very big a lots of shop tourists with money to buy , but
even if they do to me making such big mark ups is still greed..
