Unfortunately some fakes are just new production and perfectly
legal mostly asian made only if they are advertised as New
items not vintage as many sellers put it. and most lack the mark
usa if made in china or japan. The molds name etc. have been
sold many times over , but new can be spotted easy , New has
very little weight the pottery is lighter the glazes by no
means are even remotely the same. Some of the stuff on that
auction list are not even good repos like the wall pocket it is
ugly.
I am sure many of that persons buyers were warned so they made
the auction private now to keep buyers in the dark . Shame a
person has to lie and cheat to make a buck these days forgoing any
ethics at all. . Well I always find what goes around comes
around eventually they will be taken care of legally. Patti
