Hi - I think your teapot may be the 1940s era Daisy pattern, in the less
common pink & green colors (usually brown & green). You might look at Ebay's
auction #2028802386 and see if it looks like yours - Lillian

Hi, I agree with Lillian. We once had this set. Got the teapot as part
of a McCoy collection we bought in the 1970's and then found the cream
and sugar in the basement of a furniture store that had an antiques sign
in the window.

My husband took me for a week-end of Pottery shopping this week-end, and be=

Also, I've decided I have no business purchasing more pottery until I can f=

Anyone have any ideas?

Even with book in hand, I have had sellers argue with me about who made

They can be a little irritable when they are shown something in a book,
and they purchased it (probably for too much) as something else.

I have posted a McCoy Lazy Susan on eBay at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2031210855&ssPageName=ADM
E:B:LC:US:1.
In original box with cardboard insert. Labeled Nelson McCoy No. 900 Lazy
Susan, Roseville, Ohio, Color Birch. Flower design, center buttercup yellow
bowl has lovely swirled markings and McCoy and USA mark on bottom, light age
crazing. Light, milk chocolate brown coloring on outer petal bowls. In out
of the kiln condition. No chips, no cracks - only a few of the typical glaze
bubbles and specks. Wooden lazy susan tray works great - only has a light
marks from the bottom of the bowls. Approximately 12 inches in diameter. I
doubt this was used more than a few times.
Any questions please feel free to email me.
Thanks!

It is dark brown on the top and a lighter brown (tan?) on the bottom
half. The inside of the pitcher is the same as the outside top (a
dark brown). Otherwise there is no other decoration. As for size,
it is about 7.5" tall and about 20" around (at the fattest part). I
will be able to post pictures tonight, if that would help.

Butch this morning I was trying to find the value of an unusual planter I
had just "lucked upon" and while going through my books page by page I also
looked for your pitcher. I never did find a picture of it in your colors.
That don't mean I didn't over look it, I just didn't notice it. I did
however find the pitcher #7515 used in 2 different sets of kitchenware. In
the HNH Vol II on page 182-183 they show the catalog sheet for 1970 for the
Daisy Delight design. The #7515 pitcher is used with a bowl and pitcher
set. In HNH Vol II on page 189 there is the catalog sheets from 1970
showing the Strawberry Country line the #7515 pitcher is shown as a bowl and
pitcher set #7515-3239. There were no current prices given. I am sure that
that pitcher belongs with a bowl but maybe with this much more info on your
pitcher someone else can give you better information.
My $2.00 hanging pot with attached saucer is on 204 of HNH and shows a
'rare' example of the use of red clay. Book value $35-$40. Went to an
auction of an old old hardware store and go this. It still has the original
hardware store stick on price of $7.95. It is so nice to find a bargain.

Although I didn't find it in my Shawnee book, both the color and the
mark make that my best guess. However, while none of the vases shown
have the ribbed foot, some of the flower pot saucers look similar.

Subject: [Mccoypottery-talk] Help with a brown drip cookie jar
I have a cookie jar numbered 7059 on bottom. Found out it was McCoy from a =
collector's website where it was pictured as being from the McCoy collector=
's reference as being a "round canister" number 7059. It has a brown drip g=
laze and "mod" font with the words "cookie jar" on front and back. It looks=
like a bean pot more than anything.
The only thing I am curious about is - is it normal for these not to have t=
he McCoy name on them? I can't find it anywhere on the jar or the lid, but=
it looks exactly like the one in the picture I saw.
Thanks in advance for any help

don't know how to price the pitcher alone. if it's going on ebay maybe
someone has the bowl and might pay a little for it. the set runs 45-60, and
then 35-45 for the smaller sizes (i hope i recalled that correctly). good
luck--shirley
