The one thing I would mention, that many sellers do not feel is needed UNTIL
something happens, is using a marker with "invisible" (seen under black
light) water soluble ink to mark your pieces.
There are buyers with broken pieces they are looking to replace that buy
good pieces, claim they arrive broken, and demand a refund. That way they
replace their broken pieces for free to them, at the expense of the seller
(or the post office). Sad but true, and it is maddening when it does happen.
One of my favorite sellers has been doing this for years, due to his bad
experience, and a couple of times it has netted him Negative Feedback from
mad buyers who were caught, but he did not care.
When the buyers say the item arrived broken, he says no problem, just be
sure to include the ENTIRE piece in the return box, as is it marked with
black light ink, and no refund will be issued if the piece does not have the
mark. Both times he had problems, the buyers left Neg FB stating the seller
had RUINED the items by marking them with permanent markers, and they never
sent the item back for a refund <g>.
Now, since the item was ruined supposedly to begin with, how could the mark,
permanent or not, have ruined it ; )
