Hi Jeanne--I can't tell without seeing the fox, but Chic Pottery (also from 
Ohio, near McCoy) has a cute sitting fox that looks a bit like the stretch 
McCoy pieces; also, Brush, Shawnee, and several other Ohio potteries, plus 
some in California, produced small planter figurines--can't think of a fox 
offhand...Lillian
