Hi Laurie--I can tell you that Canyon dates to 1977 & includes 28 different 
shapes.  I don't think McCoy's dinnerware has been reproduced (except for the 
Smiley Face mug, not exactly dinnerware).  I'm not familiar with the 
markings--maybe someone else can help there.  The Hanson/Nissen  three books 
on McCoy and Sanford's Guide to McCoy all have information and/or pix of the
