Over the years I have had at least two panther TVlamp/planters. One
is shown in Huxford's McCoy book and is dated in the 1950's. On the
next page in their book is a large black panther. The one Ruth Ann
asked about is almost certainly Haeger. There is one in a different
color from black in the book but with the exact dimensions. (She sent
me a photo.) she is in Illinois where Haeger is located. Haeger did
make black panthers too, as did Gonder.
