I totally agree repos are hurting the market for real  ones. Since I got
a  jar for 16.50 on ebay  it was bid before me but nobody would top
what I had bid , yeah the potbelly stove isn't  a  very high value one
but if people weren't afraid  of fakes  I am sure it would have  gotten
more bids after I bid it. Oh  someons loss my gain.


I still collect cookie jars, just rarely see ones I don't have.  I think
the repro'[s, fakes have hurt the cookie jar market as far as new
collectors go.
