hello,
First of all, thank you for all the information I receive from this site.
I collect McCoy but when I find something different and reasonable I pick it
up. There was this garage sale that the children were getting rid of all the
grandmother's stuff. It was unbelievable. There were boxes and boxes of
pottery and books selling for $3 to $4 a box.
Anyway, long story short, I picked up some of those prizes you used to get at
a carnival in the 50's. They are made out of plaster of Paris and painted
colorful. One has a name on the bottom. It is an Indian chief's head and
has
Hex Mfg. Co., Buffalo, NY 1946 and a circle with a c in it.
Does anyone know what they call these? Or where I could find out about them?
Sure would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks, Jeanne
