You are so right.  Just think my mom gave away most of my dad's 
collection of tee shirts for every event from the 50's until he died in 
1980.

I have 3 dogs and have taught them the sound of a Harley when one goes 
by with the off beat firing and now they all howl every time a Harley 
goes by.
