Absolutely true. There are so many fakes out there...that I don't even look
for things for my daughter in law anymore. I bought her a lot of books,
etc...but she's still been burned to many times and is losing all interest.
Her maiden name was McCoy (no relation) and her mother was a collector for
years so she has some nice authentic pieces.
