Oh my.  I guess I ate the wrong thing....around here it is what they call
"Hoppin' John".  A soup make with black-eyed peas, rice and pork.  But we
have greens and more rice with ours.  First the rice, then greens and then
the "hoppin' john"on top.  I guess KY uses greens instead of cabbage. : )
I for one, love this site although I don't contribute alot, I do get much
from it and enjoy the conversations.  Happy New Year to all!!!  Happy
McHunting, too.

I do prefer just plain black typing, but to each his own. I look forward to
another year of getting to know all of you. I appreciate all the help I
have recieved in the past.  I have tried to repay the kindness by answering
questions for others when I can.
I had my blackeyed peas and cabbage, and pork roast.  Hope it works for
2003.  Seemed to help the Sooners yesterday!!!  Betty the Okie in Iowa
