This coming week is pottery week in Zanesville-Roseville-Crooksville.
The McCoy Lovers headquarters is at the Fairfield Innin Zanesville, with
some people also staying at the TraveLodge there and at other area
motels.  Go to the McCoy Pottery Collectors Assoc. web site for
information on the activities (should come up with a search).   There
are various auctions during the week, usually people set up to sell at
the Ceramic Museum on the highway between Roseville and Crooksville July
10-13 (www,potteryfestival.org), and a Pottery Lovers show in Cambridge
next Fri. and Sat.  July 11-12.  Before that, many people in that group
are at the  Holiday Inn July 7-11 with things to sell from their rooms.
There is a Hull Pottery Show & Sale July 7-8.  Check out
www.hullpotteryassociation.org.
Even though we aren't much more than an hour away, Zanesville has been
our vacation destination most years since t he 1970's. Hope you can make
it and have fun.  Oh, the antique stores in the area will probably have
extended hours and keep things well stocked.
