Here's a 2-part answer to a 2-part question:

Cheap is under $20.  And yes, digital.

I realize this will probably be hard to find, but my bathroom scale just 
isn't cutting it.  I've undercharged people in the past for shipping, and 
overcharged others.  I'd rather be more accurate all the time.

On the other hand, I'm "thrifty" (in other words "cheap").  So I've been 
waiting to buy one until I find a good deal.
