rett I have a seaveral ways that are safe to clean pottery without
causing any harm. I will send it to you to try sometimes the rust may
not come off but if its not to deep in clay it will lighten. I got
many of my cleanign methods from Life time career pottery collectors
some since passed on. I will also be adding some how to's to P&P
site for future referance . do not try bleach .
