[Mccoypottery-talk] OT re: pop-ups, etc.

Karen I run IE and I downloaded a FREE version of popup blocker for
Panicware. I found it through one of the search engines but I think it is
just www.panicware.com It of course comes up every time I reboot to
tell me that it is running. I have had it for a month or so and it does work
fine. The free download that has helped my computers functioning the most
has been the AdAware from Lavasoft. It got rid of all of the spyware in my
computer and I run it a couple times a week and there are always 3-4 things
that has gotten in. First time I ran it was way before I lost every thing
with the 'bugbear worm 1' at that time I had 56 things that were using my
computer that I didn't know about. Betty in Ia
