The other day when I didn't have time to go dig out this wonderful old bo=
ok I have, there was a question about a good general over all pottery book.=
This book I have was reccommended to me by an old old pottery dealer here=
in DM. I bought at an auction when it was 25 years old and I still use it =
for so many thing. It is American Art Pottery by Lucile Henzke. I have no=
idea if it is still in print or not. It has so many pottery companies in =
it that you never hear of Like Fulper,Chelsea Keramic Art,Pauline, Grueby=
, A. Radford, Lonhuda, Newcomb, Maria, Teco Ware, Arequipa. As well of the=
others that we all have heard of.
The photos are in black and white and that is strange today but the beaut=
y of all the Rookwood and Roseville is there and I have no other book that =
gives the individual artist marks that were used on the pieces.
It was published by Thomas Nelson in1970 Betty in Iowa
