Jennifer,
We are not buying much anymore. At one time I managed to collect all
the McCoy baskets but have since sold them. Since we are approaching 80
(husband) and 71 (me), our older daughter says we are to sell-sell-sell.
But we do have pieces I don't want to part with--our brown and green
stoneware lamp, the cat on the coal bucket cookie jar, an older small
stoneware jardiniere in green because my late mother gave it to me when
I first started collecting McCoy. I also won't part with my kitten and
ball of yarn planter, a large pitcher and bowl set I bought from one of
the other McCoy lovers in Zanesville a few years ago (white with
speckles and a raised design of roses) and a small pitcher and bowl with
violets.
Now you are probably sorry you asked.
Elizabeth
