I finally broke down and bought the 3 volume McCoy books. Chiquita, I
didn't realize how FAMOUS you are! It's great to have you on the list too!
But that's not the subject of this email, huh?
I have a very large mixing bowl, and a lidded canister that are exactly like
the one's listed in the books except they have brown bands rather than
blue/pink bands.
I also have a crock with blue bands around it. It says: Dishwasher, Oven
proof, Microwave on it. In the middle it has 1qt. and then in the very
middle the outline of a bowl and under that Roseville, Ohio. The bottom of
this piece is totally unglazed.
The canister has Mc Coy on the top, 131M on the left and the Lcc mark on the
right with the USA on the bottom.
The large bowl has ovenware USA on it with something in the middle that I
can't make out because the indention was skipped (printed 3 or 4 times).
As the bands on all are exactly the same and they are all the same
coloration I am assuming all are McCoy, but they aren't't in the books that
I have. So are these all McCoy or what?
I'd be curious to know.
Thanks!
