Sounds like one I have, only it is approx. 8 in tall. Page 226 in HNH V=
ol. 1. Made in the 40's in green, yellow, and pink. Called vase with bi=
rd and cherries by some. Book value $35 to $45.

Subject: [Mccoypottery-talk] Cardinal vase
I recently found a large (about 12" tall) urn-shaped McCoy vase with a ra=
ised motif of a cardinal sitting on a sprig of holly on the front and a sma=
ller sprig of holly on the back. It has a shiny pink glaze, and the McCoy s=
tamp from 1940-onwards is on the base. I can't find any information on the =
vase by doing an Internet search. Can anyone tell me about this particular =
style?
Thanks!
Jennifer
