Probably the North star Pottery company they had several star marks
with and without numbers some pieces were stamped with an indented
star other incised with a number and other stuff had the company
name on the bottom around the edge. North Star Pottery/ Stoneware I
believe was In wisconsin Like redwing it is a midwest stoneware. NS
Is highly collectible to stoneware crock bottle etc. collectors and
and anything you might find in good condition today and Id it as North
star is a prize. NS was later affiliated with Redwing and some of its
items can be found in the redwing stoneware guide. NS went out of
biz in the eqarly 1900's anything in thier lines was after that made
by redwing and its other subsidiaries .
