[Mccoypottery-talk] wheat vase question

I have a wheat vase which is the yellow with tan trim.  The book says 8" by 
5."  Mine is 8 1/2" high and  5 3/4" across the top at the widest point.
Do you think this is a reproduction?  And I thought repo's were always 
smaller than the originals.  Or do I have it backwards?  Thanks for any help 
you can give me.
