[Mccoypottery-talk] Question about Loy-Nel-Art Pottery

some of those companies in earlier days used paper labels and to find one with a
label intact ot partially is very rare the pottery was bought for use back in the day
so nobody really thought that a label was all that important .
Yes some weller and other are similar to the older stuff but anyone trained well
can spot the differences even if they are very subtle. I am still learning myself
with the art lines mostly even after so many years of selling and collecting I can
still be wrong unless I can find a reference and look it up.
Along the line I took a turn into dealing with all types of collectibles and lost
my main focus. Pottery and Porcelain Is a very long study becasue there is so much
and so many companies that were around maybe for a short period then bought by
others .
And I also remind people not every piece of pottery is documented in guides
much more is being found all the time but every piece may never be shown and
some will still be found long after the astute collectors / experts are gone .
