[Mccoypottery-talk] new fake seller? more info

I emailed the seller last night and asked her if she knew that it's a fake. 
Here's parts of what I wrote to her, and all of what she wrote back to me 
this morning.

Hi there ..... I'm not an expert, but I've been learning a lot lately ..... 
Do you realize that the "Mammy" cookie jar is a fake? I thought you'd like 
to know since you're a power seller and don't want to start getting 
disappointed customers or maybe even negative feedback! :-)

In my description it does not say anything about age, old, vintage.
I even listed under 1970 to modern cookie jar.
I buy all my stuff 2nd hand, never new, I buy at auction, estate sale, yard
sale, flea markets.
I only use vintage if I truly feel or know it is. That way I don't disapoint
anyone. and I stress
all buyers to ask questions before buying, from anyone. Esp. people who
say something is
old..
What I do know is, that who ever is reproducing cookie jars does hold the
patient on them.
Because McCoy let it go. And the marks on the Bottom are almost always
different in some way.
that sometimes helps me to know if I have a really old one or not. and I
certainly who not
let an old chef go for $42 ..

not.

Hmmmm -- I'm ashamed that this person is from the southeast. (Do I sound 
like the Dixie Chicks?) HAHA!
