Cookie jars.
In one bathroom with modern wallpaper -- with black in it. I have the McCoy
Friendship 7 with large floral arrangement in it. No lid for that jar.
In another bathroom I have the Clay Art jar called midnight snack on the
bathroom counter. This jar is a fat middleaged couple in their bathrobes,
curlers in hairs, giving each other a hug. Have cotton balls in that.
One my dresser I have two red purse cookie jars. They look like real purses
(and I collect red purses too) and I keep new looking state quarters in them.
In the laundry room -- I have an Omnibus washing machine jar -- I keep
fabric softener sheets in it. My two parakeets are also in that room and a
Large Tweety head holds their birdseed. Meanwhile a Purina dogbiscuit
shaped plastic jar holds our dogs' bones.
I have two noah's ark jars on the fireplace mantle in the bedroom, along
with a handcarved wooden noahs ark.
and in the kitchen.. I use jars for cannisters on the counter..
I do use my jars in anyway I can. I don't subject the very valuable ones to
the wear and tear of lids being taken off daily though.
