[Mccoypottery-talk] Repros???

Yes Tom, we all remember when you started collecting. Your enthusiam is st=
ill totally delightful. If you have time for a chuckle........Up at Collect=
omania this weekend I was showing a shopper a crack in a CJ lid to make sur=
e she got what she thought she was buying. Another shopper got into the co=
nversation by telling all in range what a wonderful line of "McCoy Cookie J=
ars" was available at Walmart. I of course called her on that and I found =
that she thought any ceramic or pottery cookie jar was a McCoy........Well,=
we all say I need a Kleenex when we will settle for anything to blow our n=
oses on, so if you think of it that way, I guess it is a compliment. Walma=
rt does have LOTS of different cookiejars but none say McCoy. Betty the Ok=
ie in Iowa

The best giveaway on a repro is the weight!!!!
The repro's are always lighter.
I'm a newbie myself, I've only been collecting for about a year.
Bottom line is you have to have the "feel" for it.
