Hi, I'm new to this list. I've recently become interested in McCoy cookie 
jars, however, I don't have much knowledge aside from the little I get from 
collector's books. I recently purchased a McCoy Thinking Puppy cookie jar - at 
least that is what I was told it is. It is identical to the one in the book, but 
the markings on the bottom are a bit different. It is marked "0272 USA." 
According to the book it should also include "McCoy" and "LCC". Is this a 
reproduction, or a real McCoy? Either way, the price was right ($15) and he is adorable.
