Josie;     it is called a Scottie Planting dish.   Made in 1949.    Books v=
alue (1999) is listed at  $40-$50.    Made in either the green or ivory wit=
h a brown spray.    It is one of my favorites.  Hard to find without any ea=
rs chipped or broken.

  I would like help identifying a McCoy piece I just bought at a church fle=
a market.  I searched the internet but could not find any reference to it. =
 It is a marked  planter approx 7 1/2 by 3 1/2", light green in color and h=
as the faces of 5 Scottish terrier dogs on the front in light brown.  The e=
ars of all 5 dogs stick up beyond the top of the planter.
