I need help in identifying two cookie jars that I purchased (church flea ma=
rket again) that were marked McCoy on the bottom. The first one is very un=
usual, looks unfinished on the outside (unglazed) and shiny lime green (gla=
zed) on the inside. The lid is also lime green and the bottom is "carved" w=
ith the McCoy mark. It's not too large and is shaped like a barrel.
The second one is larger and speckled beige and tan with a brown drip glaze=
at the top. The lid is also speckled. The bottom is marked McCoy on the =
top and USA on the bottom with the registered mark on the right.=20=20
I am new to this and looked at all the cookie jars on the website but could=
n't find any that looked like the ones above. Does this mean that these ar=
e not the "collectable" jars? Boy there is sure a lot to learn about McCoy =
pottery (as well as all the others). I have become addicted!
Thanks,
Josie
