I'm not sure if I posted this here before or not, but a story about shipping.
Last year I bought a cookie jar on a live auction without checking the
shipping prices. When I went to pay, the shipping charges were
$25.!!!!!! I couldn't believe it, but figured it was my fault for not
checking it out first.
Well I get the box and it's the wrong jar. I call them up, of course they
apologize and say send the jar back and tell us how much it costs to ship.
We'll send right jar and also a check for shipping costs. HAH, I figured
it was going to cost me $25. no matter what.
Well surprise-surprise .. it actually did cost me $22.50 to ship the jar
back to them via UPS, the same way they sent it to me. So -- shipping may
not always be a rip off. And it only went from somewhere in Indiana to
Oklahoma (and back).
