Hi Betty--some McCoy pieces had metal "accessories." I guess the large S=
pringwood jardinieres are the easiest to bring to mind--some of them came w=
ith long-legged holders or stands made of metal. I flipped through a book =
by Pam Coates (The Real McCoy, volume 2) that she published in 1974, and on=
p. 44 she shows a bucket planter with what looks like a metal holder. See=
ms like I've seen something else along these lines--I'll be interested to h=
