Happy New Years. On a cooking chat room that I frequent, I had ask about al=
l the foods that should be eaten on the first for good luck.  I am sure you=
 know I got many answers.  One that I had never heard of was the long time =
belief in one family that you should spent no money, not one cent on New Ye=
ars. If you spend nothing on the first you will have enough to last all yea=
r.  Never heard that but I am planning on trying it.  Betty
