I've always heard that whatever you do on New Year's Day is whatever you wi=
ll spend the next year doing.  So, Betty, if you spend money this day, you =
will spend money the rest of the year!  And never do laundry this day, cos =
you will wash some one out of your life.  Eat corned beef (health), cabbage=
 (wealth), and black eyed peas (good luck).  Tho I have done this for SO MA=
NY years and haven't reaped any benefits!!!  So good to have you all back o=
