I asked the seller of the black mammy llrh cj this
question and this is the response I got.

"are you aware that this is not a "real" piece of
mccoy pottery. mccoy never made a little red riding
hood jar. Just thought you would like to know. Dave"
I purchased this jar in Atlanta in early 90s from the
man who (around 1990) bought the McCoy name & various
McCoy molds. It is stamped McCoy in the mold at the
bottom of the piece. I didn't mark it as "vintage"
because it is not...and I didn't mark it as "repro"
because I never could find documentation of an
"original" (40s - 50s) jar like this. TY! Laurie
