[Mccoypottery-talk] help with identifying a piece

I bought this cute little planter. It is the McCoy yellow. It is a Scottie
dog sitting on its hind feet with the head kind of tilted leaning next to the
planter part which has a stand up leafs around the bottom. It is approximately
3 1/2" long and about 3 1/4" tall.
I know I have seen it in a book somewhere, but I don't know if it was
Shawnee, McCoy or what. Does anyone recall seeing something like this? There are no
marks on the bottom but on the backside there is small USA on the left side
of the dog.
Thanks for any help.
