According to "McCoy Cookie Jars - From the First to the Latest" by Harold N=
ichols McCoy made two versions of the Happy Face (Have a Happy Day) cookie =
jar. They were both done in basic yellow. They were produced in 1972 - 19=
79. One had white eyes & red smile and the "Have a Happy Day" was NOT pain=
ted. The other had black eyes, black smile & "Have a Happy Day" WAS painte=
d black.
Sanfords "McCoy In Your Pocket A-Z" 2002 lists them at $50 - $60.
Hope this helps.
