[Mccoypottery-talk] The Weekend sale

Hi Ya'll,
Well the sale I went to didnt have nearly as much
mccoy as I hoped for. I took the list that some of the
folks on the mccoy list sent me. None of those items
were available, however I did talk with the fellow
putting on the sale and copied him a list of these and
items that I wanted. He travels far looking for items.
He is really into Hull, he had many wonderful Hull
pieces in very nice condition, he also had some nice
roseville. I did stumble across a little mccoy apple
on a leaf planter and got it for $8.00, so I guess
this would be my find of the week. To those who sent
me requests, please let me know if you find them,
otherwise I will be taking the list with me when Im
hunting. The man told me he would be having a sale
about every 6 to 8 weeks. Also I cleaned up at the
flea market at the army base. We got several pieces of
brown drip, my wife likes these. Got 2 big bowls with
handles, like chili bowls and matching plates for
$1.50. Also found a piece of shawnee. This was the
first piece of shawnee I have seen, pretty pastel
green bowl with white speckles, so I got it too, my
wife liked it so I couldnt say no, LOL.
