Actually you could bid on an item and then retract your bid...if you chose to 
do so...I think you're allowed a space to say why you're retracting.
I was very nice to her, too...until she got ugly with me and then i was still 
nice but firmer.  i've not heard from her since i sent a list of my 
credentials... tee hee.
