Actually I believe that there were items marked Brush-McCoy, but never
cookie jars.  Cookie jars are very collectible and often adorable, so
they are often "reproduced" or "faked" with a Brush-McCoy mark.  Anytime
you see a cookie jar with that mark, run!  This is not a legit dealer.
The Brush-McCoy items, the legitimate ones, are utilitarian items.  If
I'm wrong, you all please correct me.  I don't want to further the

I just "googled" images for Cow jumped over the moon CJs and there is a
new one out there by TreasureCraft???  Shouldn't someone start a
collection of (or a site listing) the FAKES out there????  Thanks again
for all the help. My friend Sue is going to put the CJ in the Mall with
a sign clearly stating the fact that it is a fake and there were never
any items marked Brush McCoy.

Robinson Ransbottom...and remember that there are NO cookie jars or
pottery that is legit tht is marked Brush-McCoy...sorry to tell you
