Linda,
I combed through Lois Lehner's book of marks with little luck.  The only
left-facing Indian I found was framed by an arrow head and was marked
Illini Pottery, Whitehall, Illinois.  The company did make churns.  
When we first looked at your email, both my husband and I thought of the
Sleepy Eye Milling Co.  There were potteries that made things for them,
but the ones I checked had no mark like you describe. Our other thought
was Red Wing. However, none of their marks used an Indian. You could
send me a photo off the list, but I don't know if that would help.

Can anyone on the list help id a maker on a churn it has an Indian chief
facing left in a circle with a few stars around it with another circle
around that stamped in blue it is a #5 churn.=0D
